Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first sign of a failing priming pump is often difficulty in starting the engine, especially after it has been sitting. If ignored, the engine may begin to stall intermittently during operation as fuel flow becomes inconsistent. Ultimately, a completely failed pump will prevent the engine from starting or running at all due to lack of fuel.

Installation Tip

Ensure all fuel line connections are clean and free of debris before attaching them to the new pump. Overtightening the mounting bolts can distort the pump housing and cause leaks.

Service Note

Inspect fuel lines and filters for any signs of damage or blockage when replacing the priming pump.
