This oil pressure sensor switch monitors and reports the engine's oil pressure, playing a crucial role in engine protection and performance monitoring. Manufactured to meet exacting OEM specifications, it provides accurate readings and reliable operation, unlike a worn or faulty sensor. Operators may observe the oil pressure warning light illuminating on the dashboard, erratic gauge readings, or a complete loss of oil pressure indication when this sensor fails.

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
The most common symptom of a failing oil pressure sensor switch is the illumination of the engine's oil pressure warning light, or fluctuating readings on the oil pressure gauge. If ignored, this can lead to a lack of awareness regarding critically low oil pressure, potentially causing severe engine damage due to insufficient lubrication. The worst consequence is engine seizure from lack of lubrication.
Ensure the engine is completely cool before attempting to remove the old sensor. Apply a small amount of thread sealant to the threads of the new sensor, being careful not to get any sealant into the sensor's port.
Check the engine oil level and condition, and inspect the oil filter for signs of blockage when replacing the oil pressure sensor switch.
