225-6005 Oil Pan Gasket — Cat 3054 414E

This oil pan gasket creates a seal between the engine's oil pan and the engine block, preventing oil leaks and maintaining oil pressure. Manufactured from durable materials, it withstands engine heat and oil exposure, unlike a brittle or torn gasket. Operators may notice oil spots under the machine or a persistent oil smell if the gasket fails.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The most common symptom is visible oil leakage around the base of the oil pan. If left unaddressed, the oil level will drop, potentially leading to insufficient lubrication. Continued operation with low oil can cause severe internal engine damage.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean both the engine block and the oil pan mating surfaces to remove all traces of old gasket material and oil. Ensure the new gasket is properly seated before tightening the oil pan bolts.

Service Note

Inspect the oil pickup tube screen for clogging and the oil pump for proper operation when servicing the oil pan gasket.
