213-9906 Radiator Core — Cat C18 C27

This is a high-performance radiator core designed to dissipate heat effectively from the engine's coolant. Constructed from durable materials that resist corrosion and pressure, it ensures efficient cooling, unlike a clogged or leaking core that compromises heat exchange. Operators may observe a significant rise in engine temperature, steam from the engine bay, or a noticeable loss of coolant when this component fails.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The most common symptom of a failing radiator core is a rapid increase in engine coolant temperature. This can be accompanied by visible coolant leaks or steam emanating from the engine compartment. If left unaddressed, persistent overheating can lead to severe engine damage.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly flush the entire cooling system to remove any old coolant residue or debris before installing the new radiator core. Ensure all hose connections are properly seated and secured to prevent leaks.

Service Note

Inspect radiator hoses, clamps, and the coolant level sensor for wear or damage when replacing the radiator core.
