This is a cylinder head gasket designed to seal the combustion chambers and fluid passages between the cylinder head and engine block in CAT engines. Manufactured from high-grade composite materials, it provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, and chemical degradation compared to a degraded gasket that may allow combustion leaks or coolant contamination. Operators might observe white smoke from the exhaust, coolant in the oil (milky appearance), or oil in the coolant when this gasket fails.
