This oil pressure sensor is an essential part of the engine's lubrication system, monitoring and reporting the oil pressure to the operator or control module. It is manufactured to meet strict OEM quality standards, providing accurate readings unlike a faulty sensor that may give false or no indications. Operators may notice the oil pressure warning light illuminating intermittently or staying on, or inaccurate gauge readings when this sensor fails.

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.
Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.
The most common symptom of a failing oil pressure sensor is an inaccurate or fluctuating oil pressure reading on the gauge or warning light. If ignored, the system may not alert the operator to critically low oil pressure, potentially leading to engine damage. The worst consequence is continued operation without adequate lubrication, severely compromising engine longevity.
Ensure the engine is off and the oil system is not pressurized before removing the old sensor. Apply a small amount of thread sealant to the sensor threads, but avoid getting any sealant into the sensor port.
Check the engine oil level and condition, and inspect the wiring harness connected to the sensor for any signs of damage.
