Failure Symptoms

A clogged cab air filter will first manifest as reduced airflow from the HVAC vents and a noticeable increase in dust inside the operator's cab. If left unaddressed, the HVAC system may struggle to maintain temperature, and unpleasant odors can become prevalent. Neglecting filter replacement can lead to premature wear on the HVAC blower motor.

Installation Tip

Ensure the direction of airflow arrows on the new filter align with the airflow in the HVAC system housing. Do not force the filter into place if it does not fit easily, as this may indicate an incorrect part or a misaligned housing.
