Failure Symptoms

The most common initial symptom is the oil pressure warning light failing to illuminate when the engine is started or staying on when it should be off. If the switch fails internally, it might not trigger the warning light even when pressure is critically low. Ignoring a faulty oil pressure switch can lead to operating the engine with insufficient lubrication, causing severe internal damage.

Installation Tip
