1601428 Pan-Oil — Cat C15 C16

This is a heavy-duty oil pan designed to contain and protect the engine's lubricating oil. Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The most common symptom of a failing oil pan is visible oil leaks under the equipment, especially after it has been parked. If ignored, the oil level will drop, leading to increased engine noise and potential overheating. Continued operation with insufficient oil can result in catastrophic engine failure.

Installation Tip

Ensure the mounting surface on the engine block is perfectly clean and free of old gasket material before installing the new oil pan. Overtightening the mounting bolts can warp the pan or strip the threads.

Service Note

Inspect the oil pickup tube and screen for any debris or blockage when the oil pan is removed.
