Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first indication of a failing lip seal is usually a visible fluid leak (oil or grease) from the sealed component. If left unaddressed, the leak will worsen, potentially leading to lubricant starvation and increased wear on the shaft and bearing. Continued operation with a compromised seal can result in component failure and costly repairs.

Installation Tip

Always lubricate the lip of the seal and the shaft with the appropriate lubricant before installation to prevent tearing. Ensure the seal is installed squarely and not cocked, which can lead to premature failure.

Service Note

When replacing a lip seal, inspect the shaft for scoring or wear that could compromise the new seal's effectiveness.
