153-7923 Fuel Injector — Cat C12

This fuel injector is a precision-engineered component responsible for delivering a finely atomized spray of diesel fuel into the combustion chamber at the precise moment required for efficient burning. It is manufactured to meet strict OEM performance specifications, ensuring consistent fuel delivery unlike a clogged or leaking injector that can cause rough running and poor fuel economy. Operators may experience rough idling, hesitation during acceleration, a noticeable drop in fuel efficiency, or difficulty starting the engine.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

Initial signs of a failing fuel injector include a rough or uneven engine idle and a decrease in overall engine power. If the issue progresses, fuel economy will significantly worsen, and the engine may begin to misfire or hesitate under acceleration. Continued operation with faulty injectors can lead to unburnt fuel washing cylinder walls, causing premature engine wear and potential damage.

Installation Tip

Always use new sealing washers and ensure the injector bore is perfectly clean before inserting the new injector. Avoid forcing the injector into the bore, as this can damage the injector tip or the bore itself.

Service Note

Inspect fuel lines, fuel filter, and glow plugs when replacing fuel injectors.
