Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first sign of a failing bucket tooth is a noticeable decrease in digging force and penetration. If ignored, the tooth will continue to wear down, leading to increased strain on the hydraulic system and bucket linkage. Eventually, a severely worn tooth can break off, potentially damaging the bucket adapter and other surrounding components.

Installation Tip

Before installing a new tooth, clean the adapter pocket thoroughly to ensure a secure fit and prevent premature wear. Avoid forcing the tooth onto the adapter, as this can damage the locking mechanism or the adapter itself.

Service Note

Inspect the bucket adapter and locking pin for wear or damage whenever replacing a bucket tooth.
