125-1123 Turbo S2Esl105 Turbocharger — Cat 3116T 110Hp

This is a high-performance turbocharger designed to boost engine power and efficiency by forcing more air into the combustion chambers of CAT 3116T engines. Built to exacting standards, it offers reliable operation and durability, unlike worn units that exhibit reduced boost pressure and performance. Operators may notice a significant loss of power, increased exhaust smoke, or a whining noise from the engine when this turbocharger begins to fail.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

An initial symptom of a failing turbocharger can be a noticeable reduction in engine acceleration or power output. If ignored, the turbocharger may begin to produce excessive smoke from the exhaust, consume oil, or make loud whining or grinding noises. Continued operation risks severe engine damage due to loss of lubrication or mechanical failure of the turbocharger.

Installation Tip

Before installing, thoroughly flush the engine's oil supply and return lines to remove any debris that could contaminate the new turbocharger bearings. Ensure the oil feed is properly primed before initial startup.

Service Note

When replacing the turbocharger, inspect the air intake and exhaust systems for leaks or restrictions, and check the engine oil for contamination.
