115-4202 Oil Pan Gasket — Cat 3116 3126

This oil pan gasket is designed to create a seal between the engine oil pan and the engine block, preventing oil leaks and maintaining oil pressure. Manufactured from durable materials, it withstands engine heat and oil exposure better than a worn or damaged gasket. Symptoms of a failing gasket include visible oil drips from under the engine, a burning oil smell, or a drop in oil pressure.

Installation & Application Notes

Inspect mating surfaces for wear before fitting. Use torque specs from service manual. Replace gaskets and seals as a set — reusing compressed gaskets causes oil leaks. Clean all oil passages with compressed air.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

The first sign of a failing oil pan gasket is typically a visible oil leak beneath the engine. If ignored, the leak can worsen, leading to low oil levels and increased engine wear. Persistent oil leaks can also create a fire hazard.

Installation Tip

Thoroughly clean the oil pan flange and the engine block sealing surface to ensure a perfect seal. Do not reuse old bolts; use new ones and tighten them in a crisscross pattern to the specified torque.

Service Note

Inspect the oil pump pickup screen and the oil pan itself for any damage or excessive sludge buildup when replacing the gasket.
