Installation & Application Notes

Always replace brakes in axle sets. Bed-in new brake pads with 8–10 moderate stops from 40 km/h. Check disc runout with a dial gauge — maximum 0.1 mm. Inspect caliper slides and pistons when replacing pads.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

Initial signs of a worn friction disc include a longer brake pedal travel and a slight delay in braking engagement. If left unaddressed, the braking effectiveness will continue to diminish, leading to significantly increased stopping distances. Continued operation with severely worn discs can lead to damage to other brake components and potential loss of braking control.

Installation Tip

Ensure all friction surfaces are clean and free of grease or oil before assembly. Do not reuse old seals or O-rings; always replace them with new ones to prevent leaks.

Service Note

Inspect steel brake plates, seals, and brake fluid condition when replacing friction discs.
