1058754 Bearing — Cat 824g 824g ii

This is a high-quality bearing designed to reduce friction and wear between moving parts in heavy machinery applications. Manufactured to stringent standards, it offers superior load-carrying capacity and durability compared to a worn or damaged bearing. Symptoms of a failing bearing include excessive heat generation, unusual grinding noises, and play or looseness in the component it supports.

Installation & Application Notes

Never strike bearings directly — use a bearing press or driver set. Heat housing (not bearing) to ease installation. Replace bearings in sets where applicable. Check housing bore diameter before fitting — out-of-round bores destroy new bearings.

Always consult the OEM service manual for model-specific torque values and procedures. WhatsApp our technical team if you need fitment guidance.

Failure Symptoms

A failing bearing may initially produce a faint humming or grinding noise that intensifies with speed and load. This can progress to noticeable vibration and increased heat around the component. If left unaddressed, the bearing can seize, potentially damaging the shaft and housing, and immobilizing the equipment.

Installation Tip

Always use a proper bearing puller and installer tool to avoid damaging the bearing races or the shaft. Never apply excessive force directly to the bearing's rolling elements.

Service Note

Inspect the shaft and housing for any signs of wear or damage, and ensure proper lubrication is applied before installation.
