Our Story

Parts Trading Company was founded in 1956 by Rasik Shah at Grant Road, Mumbai — a time when heavy earthmoving equipment was transforming India's infrastructure. Rasik recognised early that fleet operators needed a dependable local source for spare parts, not just what the OEM catalogues offered.

What began as a small parts trading operation grew steadily over the decades. As India's construction, mining, and logistics sectors expanded, so did PTC's inventory, brand coverage, and reach.

Today the company is run by Rasik's sons — Lalit Shah, Vinesh Shah, and Sanjeev Shah — each with over 40 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment parts. Their combined knowledge covers virtually every major brand: from Volvo and Scania trucks to Komatsu and Caterpillar excavators, from Hitachi mining machines to underground drilling equipment.

Jinaal Shah and Aayush Shah — the third generation — are now actively involved, carrying forward the same commitment to deep product knowledge and fast, reliable supply.

We supply both genuine OEM parts and OEM-specification aftermarket alternatives. Our specialists will advise on the right choice for your application — whether that means brand-new OEM for warranty-sensitive repairs, or a quality aftermarket equivalent that offers better value for older machines.

Why Fleet Operators Trust PTC

Real Part Knowledge

Our specialists know the difference between a Scania GRS905 and a GRS895 — and which parts cross over. That depth of knowledge means fewer wrong orders and faster resolution when you have a machine down.

Same-Day Dispatch

Orders confirmed before 3 PM IST are dispatched the same day from our Mumbai warehouse. Pan-India delivery via courier partners. International shipments handled on request.

Family Business Accountability

When you call PTC, you reach people who have staked their family name and reputation on every part they supply. Not a call centre. Not a catalogue service. Specialists who answer for what they sell.
